Middle School Religion

Why hello! My name is Carissa Pierce and I have been teaching at Holy Family for the last eight years. I know much of the community from teaching 1st grade for my first four years here and have had the pleasure of getting to know many new faces in Middle School the last four years. My background is originally in graphic design, having earned my bachelor's from the University of Northern Colorado in 2012. Shortly after I discerned that I was meant for other things. So, I went back to UNC (Greeley) and completed a Masters program to obtain my teaching license, and I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching: K-6 in December 2014. Many interviews, and one providential email, later I found myself in the community we know as HFCS. It has been both a challenge and a blessing, but the best things in life generally are both! I love what I do and am grateful and blessed that God has considered me worthy to help lay the foundation of the future in our students: body, mind, and soul.
