Art Teacher, K-8th grade

Hello Holy Family students and parents! I am graciously blessed and excited to be the new K-8 art teacher! I am from Paonia, CO where I meet my husband of 10 years. We have to wonderful sons, one of whom is attending Holy Family now while the other will be in preschool next year. I graduated from Colorado Mesa University with my Bachelors in K-12 Art Education. My specialty is in pottery and wheel throwing. I have been a substitute teacher for both Delta County and Mesa County public school districts over the course of 4 years. I was also the secretary for Sacred Heart Catholic church in Paonia the past 3 years. Most of my experience is with middle school age students, where I student taught at West Middle school and held a long-term substitute position in art at Orchard Mesa Middle school. I have also taught art classes to youth at The Art Center here in Grand Junction. Together with the vision of Holy Family administration, I look forward to expanding the art department! I will always strive to be a better teacher, role model, artist and mentor to your amazing students! God Bless!
