Holy Family Gives Back

Throughout the school year, our school family gives back to our community in many ways. Learn more about what we are doing this 2023-24 school year.
ST Each September we do a sock drive for the homeless in our community. This year we took 2,410 socks to Homeward Bound.
TFGEach November we work with IHM in preparing Thanksgiving boxes for the needy in our community. This November, we helped gather food for 129 boxes that included all the ingredients for a Thanksgiving Dinner plus some additional staples. These boxes helped feed 714 people.
CoatsEvery winter we help the Knights of Columbus, #1062, of St. Joseph Catholic Church, with their annual Coats for Kids Drive.
 
As of January 16, 2024, we helped collect the following:
  • 78 jackets/coats
  • 24 warm hats
  • 28 pairs of gloves
  • 15 scarves
  • 7 snowpants
CFCEvery Friday during Lent, our school participates in Casual for Charity as a practice of almsgiving.
 
Students may dress casually (as long as the clothing is appropriate) if they bring in a donation for the organization HFCS is supporting. 
 
The students are encouraged to give from their own pockets.
