Holy Family Gives Back
Throughout the school year, our school family gives back to our community in many ways.
Every Friday during Lent, our school participates in Casual for Charity as a practice of almsgiving.Students may dress casually if they bring in a donation for the organization HFCS is supporting.
Students are encouraged to give from their own pockets.
This 2026 Lenten season our school is supporting the following local organizations:
- Local Catholic Outreach (2/20/26) - $980.08
- Homeward Bound (2/27/26) - $932.61

Each November we work with IHM in preparing Thanksgiving boxes for the needy in our community. November 2025, we helped gather food for 115 boxes that included all the ingredients for a Thanksgiving Dinner plus some additional staples. These boxes helped feed about 660 people.
Each September we do a sock drive for the needy in our community. This September 2025, we took 2,823 socks to Homeward Bound and our local Catholic Outreach. 7th grade won a pizza party for collecting the most (902) socks.
