Samantha Bisnoff

My name is Miss Samantha Bisnoff. I was born and raised in New York.  I moved to Colorado in 2017 and love the weather, outdoor activities, and wildlife that beautiful Colorado holds. I am excited to join the team at Holy Family.

I have my BA in Educational Studies and English Literature from Elmira College. I also have master's coursework from the Esteves School of Education at Russell Sage College. I am currently working towards completing my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from CCU.

This will be my eighth year working in education. I spent a year assisting in classrooms in New York, a year subbing in District 51 schools, and six years at other Charter Schools in the valley. The majority of my years in education has been in first grade. I am thrilled to be teaching first grade again!

When I am not working with students, I enjoy reading, baking, visiting family on the East coast, and my animals. Some of my favorite children's books include Winnie the Pooh, Charlotte's Web, and Corduroy. I also enjoy spending time with my animals and helping care for nearly 50 horses at Alamar Stables. My animals are like my children. I have a dog named Caramel and I have three of my own horses; Fudge, Nilla, and Roo. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of firsts at Holy Family Catholic School.
