Desteny Waln

Hello! My name is Desteny Waln. I was born and raised in Trinidad, Colorado. My husband recently took a position that placed us on the western slope. This was a big move for us, but we built a house here and are excited to make this our new home. We have 2 kids, enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with our 2 dogs. Personally, I have been teaching since 2009. The grades range from preschool to 4th grade. Currently, I am working on my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I am excited to learn and grow with this team!
